I’ve started writing a musical adaptation of L. Frank Baum’s *The Patchwork Girl of Oz*.🎍

Many people don’t know Baum wrote 13 sequels after *The Wonderful Wizard of Oz*.

Patchwork Girl is the 7th book, and at the time was Baum’s return to the franchise. 

The musical will feature characters you might not know, 

and characters you’ll recognize. 👠👠✨

I wouldn’t typically announce something like this so early [this will take time] but the words “I’m writing a musical” jump out of my mouth to everyone I speak to! 

I want to make connections with other writers and creatives as I ease on down the road. 🖼

I aim to bring Baum’s characters’ informal delightful philosophy into sound.

I’ve had these characters in my heart all my life and they’ve been jumping off the page! 🎶

I’m excited to share my adventures in Oz with you!
